Sunday Services - What to Expect

Our services are held every Sunday at 10:30 am. We worship in an informal, contemporary style mixing traditional hymns with modern worship songs. We include multi-media material on a large screen. We do not use song books, although large print words are available to those who need them. Bibles are available in the pews.

After a time of worship the children leave for age-related groups where they receive stimulating teaching from teachers who have been cleared for working with children. Adults remain for Bible-based teaching. We do not take up a collection, although a box is provided by the door for those who wish to give. We usually end at about 11:45 and we would love you to stay for tea or coffee and a chat, so we can get to know you better. We support Woodbridge in its status as a Fair Trade Town and use fairly-traded tea and coffee. Some Sundays in the summer we hold a barbecue after the service.

When Churches Together hold a joint evening service we support it.

Communion

We usually celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month and at other times in fellowship meetings. Communion is open to all who love and serve God. If you are unsure you are welcome to just observe.

Children and Young People

We have Sunday School for children, a group for young teen-agers, and a creche for little ones. All our teachers and carers have been through a 'Safe to Grow' course for looking after children and have had a Police Check.

Inclusivity

As well as providing large-print words for the songs, we have an inductive loop for the hard of hearing and our building is wheel-chair accessible.

Sunday Services - Preaching Plan

Our Minister, Rev. Mark Hardingham, usually sets out his sermon topics in advance. The titles are then given in this list. Sometimes only the series title is known.
